In a recent incident in Katsina State, thirteen individuals, including twelve married women and one man, were reportedly abducted in an attack by bandits at Kurechin Giye village of Makera Ward in Dutsinma Local Government Area. Alongside the abductions, the assailants looted properties valued at millions of naira from the residents.
According to an anonymous resident who spoke to Channels Television, the bandits, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the village late Monday, initiating a prolonged attack.
