The PGA Nigeria has confirmed the launch of the Acropolis Golf Club

The PGA Nigeria has confirmed the participation of renowned golfers for the highly anticipated launch of the Acropolis Golf Club, scheduled to take place from April 5th in Anambra State. Among the elite players set to grace the event is Nigeria's current number-one ranked professional golfer, Francis Epe, who will lead the gathering of top talents.

Accompanying Epe are notable figures in the Nigerian golfing scene, including Sunday Olapade, a former national number one and recent winner of the Libreville Open in Gabon, as well as the 2023 Goldfield Championship victor in Accra, Ghana. Gift Willy, the winner of the 2023 CIO Open, Oche Odoh, recognized as one of Nigeria's most decorated professional golfers, and Femi Olagbenro, a highly respected golf administrator in the country, are also expected to participate.

Obioma Ogakwu, the acting resort manager of The Acropolis Resort, expressed enthusiasm about the overwhelming interest generated by the Acropolis Golf Course within the golfing community. Ogakwu noted that the course's design and craftsmanship have impressed many golfers, attracting a significant level of anticipation, especially among top-rated players.
